Welcome

There's an energy that moves you when you see the wedding images from Kim and Niki. Kim is a natural photojournalist, capturing intimate details and spontaneous moments. Niki specializes in creative portraiture, using light and composition to emphasize the connections between people. Together, they are "masters of the moment", working seamlessly to deliver a comprehensive portfolio of imagery. Two visions, capturing one perfect day. We traveled to Santa Cruz to hang out with Suzi and Terry and their very sweet animals. Suzi and Terry warned us that the animals (a very old deaf dog and a pretty curious yellow tabby) did not like being photographed - but we knew we could sweet talk them into taking some pictures with us! Well ... we got the dog at least! The cat ... not so much.
We loved hanging out with Terry and Suzi in their home before we ran around the open space close to their house.

This tree was so awesome. I love how Niki captured it!

Suzi kept telling us they did not do well in front of the camera, but just look at how cute they! I just love the way the each look at the other! Lovely.

Just great light! Love it.

We then headed over to the beach down the street. I loved the etching in the sand cliff as the sun started to fall. So sweet.

We loved hanging out with you two - and can't wait for your upcoming wedding!

Niki and I had the pleasure of hanging out with Sunday and Jim a couple weekends ago. We ran around UC Berkeley where both Sunday and Jim work. We started out in the library. Anyone watching us would have found this situation pretty funny. We couldn't make any noise so we had to practice before we went in and then use hand motions and "silent modeling" to get what we wanted. I felt like I was holding my breath the whole time! Stealth shooting at it's best!

My nephew and my nanny are getting married! How cute is that? WAIT!! How did I get old enough to have a nanny.... When did I get old enough to have a NEPHEW getting married?
Okay enough about me...
Jesse and Nicole are so crazy in love and Niki came out to help me photograph this great time in their lives. And she is going to photograph their wedding as well. They don't even know how lucky they are. Ha ha ha.
We had so much fun running around Alviso with them. We even got yelled at by a locale and stopped by the police....ANYTHING to get a great shot.

Yes! We photograph seniors! And we love it. Teenagers are so fun to hang out with. I love how they have no fear and are up for anything! Sierrra is the daughter of one of our brides next year and mom thought why not have Kim and Niki capture this fantastic time in her daughter's life.

How much do we love this girl? She is into photography! A girl after our own hearts! And she shoots Nikon! whoo hoo! Sorry Niki.

We ran all over the city and had a couple changes in outfits. Sierra is just such a beauty.
sierra8.jpgWe just used whatever we could find as a back drop. In and out of doorways, Sierra was up for anything.

What a great wedding! A Thursday afternoon wedding at Cornerstone Gardens... what could be nicer? This wedding was so stylish and intimate (with only 40 guests) that we think we could shoot weddings like this everyday!
We loved so many things about Felicia and Brian's wedding, I just don't know where to start! First the color scheme was so fantastic, I mean could it match our logo colors any better?
All the fun details we love so much included cupcakes, croquet, a vintage Polaroid camera set up, and so much more! Check out some of our favorite details below.
FB-blog.details.jpgThe day started of so easy, with Felicia and Brian getting ready in The Vineyard House. Family and friends showed up and had time to visit while we shot away.

During the ceremony the guest passed around a beautiful box with the rings in it. They were asked to bless the rings as the box travel through the group. So touching.
fbblog-313.jpgfbblog-314.jpgFamily was so important to Felicia and Brian.
fbblog-308.jpgAnd then we got to run around the gardens to get some great images of this super fun couple. Felicia and Brian brought to so much of their joy and style to all these moment. Our faorite thing about couples is the couples themselves!

We absolutely LOVED that Felicia and Brian borrow their Uncles old Polaroid camera and used it to get fun shots of all the guest!
FBblog-206.jpgAnd then we helped them with a super simple and fun photo booth that anyone could put together. What great pictures we got of all the guest. Each guest could write a special message on the chalkboard cut out. So stinkin' fun!

All we can say is Felicia and Brian did it right! A super small wedding with just their family and closest friends and a ton of fun things to do all day long. We had a blast hanging out with each and every one of them!
FBblog-207.jpg Thank you Felicia and Brian for brightening our mid week with your wedding!
What a beautiful venue and fabulous couple! It just doesn't get better than Cornerstone Gardens... with a vineyard to boot!

omg ladies...you blow me away! :) These are stunning! I HATE that I didnt have time last week when I was in California to meet us...I was literally there 1 full day to shoot and then back to Georgia I went. My husband and I are planning a trip out there asap and I will definitely make sure we meet up then! Love you ladies and keep making your clients look beautiful!
