Kim and I had the pleasure of heading out to the coast for the lovely wedding of Melanie and David. When we arrived at Liquid Sky in Half Moon Bay, the fog was rolling in, wave after wave, with blue sky peeking through. It was magical! Following the ceremony, we took Melanie and David down to the beach, for some fun pictures. The celebration continued at Cetrella-- an excellent meal, a rockin' band, and tons of family and friends made the evening complete!

Did I mention there were AMAZING shoes? On Melanie, on the bridesmaids, on the flower girl!

 

Kim and I were back in the Presidio last week, for the wedding of Mimi and Chris. And what a day it was! Absolutely beautiful from beginning to end-- a feast for photographers! Mimi was radiant in not one, not two, but three incredible dresses! Special thanks to Taylor from Hale Events for making this event extra extra special, as well as the talented people at Passiflora, and Enhanced Lighting.

And we just shot an engagement session for him. My Baby Brother.
My sweet, lovable, honey of a brother is not just getting married, but he happens to be marring one of MY closest friends - Rachel. How excited am I? So, so, so excited.
From the moment my brother met Rachel, about ten years ago, he has had a crush on her. And even through Rachel was in a relationship at the time ... she always had a crush on him as well.
 It only took them 7 YEARS to finally be single at the same time.

The story goes....
Kim: "Hey Brandon, guess who just became single?"
Brandon: (total deadpan) " Rachel.... Give me her number."

He called that night, and they went on a date the next day.
They have been connected at the hip ever since!

Kim and I were back in the city last week, for a little date with Amy and Matt. This couple is so much fun to hang out with-- they are smart, funny, and great conversationalists. We had a blast! We started at Zuni Cafe for cocktails, one of Matt and Amy's favorite hangouts, and explored the nearby nooks and crannies. Then we traveled to the Presidio, for a different perspective. All I can say about the wedding of Kristi and Frank is WOW! This day was a photographer's dream. Not only are Kristi and Frank beautiful people, both inside and out, but they gave us tons and tons of time to work with them. We met up with them a few hours before their ceremony to run around downtown San Jose with their wedding party in tow! We had a blast, and they were up for anything! We proceeded to The Ranch Golf Club, where we got to make an entirely different set of portraits. And it just keeps getting better-- lots of emotion, lots of laughing, one smokin' hot dance number by the entire wedding party, and a little red dress. :)
