What a great wedding! A Thursday afternoon wedding at Cornerstone Gardens... what could be nicer? This wedding was so stylish and intimate (with only 40 guests) that we think we could shoot weddings like this everyday!
We loved so many things about Felicia and Brian's wedding, I just don't know where to start! First the color scheme was so fantastic, I mean could it match our logo colors any better?
All the fun details we love so much included cupcakes, croquet, a vintage Polaroid camera set up, and so much more! Check out some of our favorite details below.
FB-blog.details.jpgThe day started of so easy, with Felicia and Brian getting ready in The Vineyard House. Family and friends showed up and had time to visit while we shot away.

During the ceremony the guest passed around a beautiful box with the rings in it. They were asked to bless the rings as the box travel through the group. So touching.
fbblog-313.jpgfbblog-314.jpgFamily was so important to Felicia and Brian.
fbblog-308.jpgAnd then we got to run around the gardens to get some great images of this super fun couple. Felicia and Brian brought to so much of their joy and style to all these moment. Our faorite thing about couples is the couples themselves!

We absolutely LOVED that Felicia and Brian borrow their Uncles old Polaroid camera and used it to get fun shots of all the guest!
FBblog-206.jpgAnd then we helped them with a super simple and fun photo booth that anyone could put together. What great pictures we got of all the guest. Each guest could write a special message on the chalkboard cut out. So stinkin' fun!
FB-pb-1.jpg
All we can say is Felicia and Brian did it right! A super small wedding with just their family and closest friends and a ton of fun things to do all day long. We had a blast hanging out with each and every one of them!
FBblog-207.jpg Thank you Felicia and Brian for brightening our mid week with your wedding!
What a beautiful venue and fabulous couple! It just doesn't get better than Cornerstone Gardens... with a vineyard to boot!

omg ladies...you blow me away! :) These are stunning! I HATE that I didnt have time last week when I was in California to meet us...I was literally there 1 full day to shoot and then back to Georgia I went. My husband and I are planning a trip out there asap and I will definitely make sure we meet up then! Love you ladies and keep making your clients look beautiful!

Niki and I had the pleasure of traveling to Healdsburg a couple weeks ago to one of the most charming weddings! Andrea and Steve infused so much of their own ideas into this sweet and rustic wedding. We loved how Andrea put together hand made books for their guest to leave personal messages. Both Andrea and Steve made jam and incorporated the same paper to accent the jars. These cute little treasures also doubled as the place cards for guests! Love that! And to top it all off Steve and Andrea served hand scooped ice cream in our favorite- mason jars! Check out all the sweet details below.
AS.blog.details copy.jpgAndrea gets into her dress with the help of her mom. Such a sweet moment... we love the details that go along with this time of day.
AS-9.jpgSteve waited so quietly for Andrea to arrive. I loved this moment. Full of anticipation and still there is so much grace as well.

And then the moment they get to turn and embrace. Just lovely.

The wedding party was so much fun! Aren't they always! The groomsmen were a crack-up. Great sense of humor and great friendships. Love when the guys are will to just relax and be themselves! Makes for such great moments, and pictures!

Kim and I had the honor of photographing the wedding of Dick and Iris, at the incomparable Ritz Carlton, Half Moon Bay. To say that this wedding was special is an understatement. First of all, we had the pleasure of working with some of the very best people in the industry, including Taylor Nguyen of Ha Le Events, John and Megan of Enhanced Lighting, and Laurie Chestnutt Floral. They all made our job incredibly easy. But even more remarkable is the love that Dick and Iris have for each other, and their incredible family.

idb01.jpg idb03.jpgHaving their family near during this weekend was the most important thing to Dick and Iris. Here Dick is "chillin" with all of his grandsons. We loved the way these boys were with Dick. So much affection and sweetness... It was quite clear to us these boys love their grandfather, and he adores them

idb02.jpg
idb04.jpgDick was just so happy and could not wait to turn around and see his beautiful bride for the first time that day.

All day long we were struck but how much Dick adored Iris. It was evident every time he looked at her. He simply could not take his eyes off of her!

idb08.jpg
idb10.jpgHere Dick is waiting to walk to the altar, listening to the opera students Iris teaches sing. He was so moved by the music!

idb11.jpg
idb12.jpgIris pays homage to her Scottish heritage by having bag pipe players and wearing a tartan. We loved that personal touch!

idb13.jpgThe butterflies release was a show of its own. They planted themselves on the flower girls and bridesmaids and all the flowers in the ceremony! It was such a fun moment-- full of whimsy and sentiment.

Dick and Iris, surrounded by their amazing grandchildren. :)

idb17.jpgWe love this moment between Iris and her daughter and Matron of Honor. So sweet.

idb18.jpg
Iris makes a quick change into her reception dress. She was radiant, reminiscent of Audrey Hepburn.

Last week, Kim and I met up with Felicia and Brian, on the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. (Yeah, we have a great job!) The sky was grey when we started, but it was the perfect backdrop to the vivid colors of the boardwalk, and the vibrant smiles of Felicia and Brian.

As we hit the beach, the sun came out. Brian and Felicia were great sports, as Kim and I explored every nook and cranny of the train trestle, right next to the Boardwalk.

Kim and I were thrilled to photograph Laura and Jon's wedding, at Murietta's Well in Livermore, CA. You may recognize this stunning couple from their Hitchcock-inspired engagement session. But our history with Jon and Laura goes further than that-- we met Laura and Jon while working with Alicia and Eric (Jon's brother). It was a perfect match, both for them and with us! We just can't say enough about his couple. Along with their families and friends, they are the very best kind of people. :)

Laura:

What a special day. Working with such talented, positive, and sweet individuals such as yourselves made our day stress-free (except for Jon having the stomach flu :). When I saw you two walk through my mom's front door when we were getting ready, I knew the fun had started. I can't get over how easy-going, professional, and extremely detail-oriented you two are. I am singing, and will continue to sing your praises. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
